Day 1. Arrival – Transfer to Ijen Hotel
Upon arrival at Surabaya Airport by morning flight, meet & greet by our guide, proceed transfer to Ijen Crater Area (6-7hrs) for check-in and overnight Ijen View Hotel.
Days 2. Ijen Crater Trekking – Transfer to Tumpak Sewu Hostel
from day1 around 11.00pm, start Ijen (2,400 m) Excursion. We drive to Pal Tuding, the last monitoring station, from which you supposed to take a-3 km trek to the crater. Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel. This volcano offers a brightly yellow crater-lake. The summit of Mt. Ijen is a gorgeous crater filled with haunting turquoise-blue lake with its surface streaked in the wind blow patterns of yellow sulfur vapor. By the crater lake edge, there is an evil-smelling sulfur where local people digging and carrying 70-80 kgs on their bare shoulders for 2 miles ascending and descending steep Mt. Ijen wall.
Upon completion, we will continue driving back to hotel breakfast and shower than at 12 drive to tumpak sewu hostel check-in at hostel and resting, and free program. ( we can see milky way from nearby Hostel )
Days 3. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Bromo Hotel
at after breakfast about 8am we will start trekking down 1,5km with the beautyfull of waterfall than from here we will enjoy of panorama hill and waterfall. After we had picture we will continue our journey to bromo hotel drive 4h check in hotel and rest. At night its possible we can shoot milky way at tengger area until 11pm and rest.
Days 4. Mount Bromo Sunrise – Surabaya Hotel
At 3.00 in the early morning you’ll be wake up and the Jeep will bring you to the world’s most famous view point at Mt Penanjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to enjoy the sunrise (if we’re lucky) with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background. Afterward the adventure continue to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 243 step of stairs (Horse ride is optional). Afterwards the Jeep will bring you back to hotel for breakfast and re-packing.
At 11.00 we will check-out and transfer to surabaya Hotel or Airport catching your flight.
