Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is one of the most beautifull tourist object located between the Pronojiwo District, Lumajang Regency, and the Ampelgading District, Malang Regency, in East Java, Indonesia. Tumpak Sewu means a thousand falls, it means there are more than 2 fall around. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall becomes the unbeatable of the most beautiful waterfall in east java that you must visit during your vacation in Indonesia. This a exotic waterfall is often combined with the visits of the greatest Mount Bromo Tour. Because the location of the waterfall is quite near if you just go straight to this waterfall from mount bromo hotel area or from probolinggo its only about 3-4hour by normal traffic.
How to Prepare Going to Waterfall?
If you’re planning on hiking to the bottom of Tumpak Sewu, I recommend wearing closed-toe shoes. Since you actually walk through portions of the waterfall which are slippery and wet, flip-flops seem much too flimsy. If you’re only planning on visiting the Panoramic Viewpoint, however, I think you’d be fine in less sturdy shoes.
You’ll need to bring some cash to pay entrance fees for Tumpak Sewu are surprisingly cheap compared to some of the other attractions I visited in Java. It was only 20,000 IDR per person for the Panoramic Viewpoint and explore to bottom.
When Best Time Visit Tumpak Sewu ?
The best time to visit Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is between March – October which is mostly sunny. We highly recommend to stay in the local homestay near the waterfall, why?
